Barton Springs Software is looking for experienced Cocoa developers for full-time work on next-generation Mac desktop applications. We have several positions open so if you have professional Cocoa experience under your belt, we would like to hear from you.
Basic Requirements:
- Extensive experience using the Macintosh platform
- Several years experience coding with Cocoa on Mac OS X, at least one year professionally
- Some familiarity with other programming languages such as C, C++, and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or PHP
Scale-tippers:
- Experience with coding to network protocols is a very strong plus
- Good familiarity with Mac UI design concepts (intuitiveness and cleanliness of design) is a strong plus
- Experience creating custom views and controls in Cocoa
- Experience with coding or designing shipping Mac OS X applications is a strong plus
- Experience with new features added to AppKit in Leopard
We are an Austin-based startup and prefer candidates in the local market.
